Stellar Leap was founded in 2022 by Vince Chernesky after an extraordinary 28 year military career where he and his teams worked at the forefront of technology development and fielding including Laser Weapons, Electromagnetic Railguns, and Space Defense/Space Control. He has worked extensively across the Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community, successfully crossed the “Valley of Death” several times, managed broad Science & Technology portfolios, led Major System Acquisitions, established emerging capability policies, and most importantly mentored the next generation of bold acquisition leaders who will advance the United States a space leader and further our national security. Stellar Leap is his evolving effort to enable others to develop technologies that will allow humanity to explore and exploit the solar system and to spread his leadership philosophy.
